A special thank you to Sue and her family for organising it all, to all the dancers who provided the cabaret, to all those who donated the raffle prizes, and to everyone who helped with the catering, table displays and the setting up/clearing up. It was a lovely evening and fantastic to see so many people gracing the floor and enjoying an evening of dance.

One Saturday afternoon in June saw JanSu dancers brave the outdoors to perform at St Matthews School Fete.
First to take to the arena were the Junior Showcase, and
after some minor confusion at being outdoors rather than
in a hall the young team put on a dazzling performance.
They were followed by the rosettes performing their Olympic Dance, including football, canoeing, karate, swimming, cycling and table tennis, in their patriotic colours.
The young performers danced to some latin rhythms - the Jive and Cha Cha. The display was finished off with some disco freestyle.
JanSu dancers Rock & Rolled at Tesco's over a weekend in February, to entertain customers

and supported the event, we raised £850.
Many thanks also to Richard for the photographs.

JanSu were invited to perform at the Blackmoor Jubilee Extravaganza, showcasing Rock and Roll and Jive dances typical of the 1950's.
Despite the torrential rain and mud
splattered outfits, the dancers
transported the audience back in time. The Junior Showcase treated the audience to a performance and the afternoon was rounded off with the Olympic dance.
JanSu were privileged to participate in Bordon & Whitehill's First Arts Festival.
